Auto Embed Configuration

Configure automatic embed generation for movies and TV shows

How Auto Embed Works

MovieEra's auto-embed system generates iframe players using configurable embed templates:

Template System

Admin Panel Configuration

Enable/Disable Settings

Configure which content types support auto-embed:

  • Enable Auto Embed - Master toggle for the feature
  • Auto Embed for Movies - Enable for movie content
  • Auto Embed for TV Shows - Enable for TV series
  • Users Only - Require user login to access players
  • Show Domain - Display source domain as server name

Embed Templates

Configure embed URL templates with replacement variables:

Movie Templates Format:

Server Name;https://example.com/embed/movie/{tmdb}
VidSrc;https://vidsrc.to/embed/movie/{tmdb}
SuperEmbed;https://multiembed.mov/?video_id={tmdb}&tmdb=1

TV Show Templates Format:

Server Name;https://example.com/embed/tv/{tmdb}/{season}/{episode}
VidSrc;https://vidsrc.to/embed/tv/{tmdb}/{season}/{episode}
SuperEmbed;https://multiembed.mov/?video_id={tmdb}&tmdb=1&s={season}&e={episode}

Template Variables

Content IDs

  • {tmdb} - TMDB ID
  • {imdb} - IMDB ID

TV Show Variables

  • {season} - Season number
  • {episode} - Episode number

Format Rules

  • • One template per line
  • • Use semicolon (;) separator
  • • Name;URL format

Testing & Troubleshooting

Test Embed Function

MovieEra includes a built-in embed testing tool:

  • 1. Go to Admin → Auto Embed Settings
  • 2. Click the "Test Embeds" button
  • 3. Select a movie or TV show to test
  • 4. View generated embed URLs and server names
  • 5. Verify templates are working correctly

Common Issues

  • • No embeds showing: Check if auto-embed is enabled in settings
  • • Wrong URLs generated: Verify template format and variable placement
  • • Server names incorrect: Check "Show Domain" setting and template names
  • • Missing content IDs: Ensure TMDB IDs are populated when importing
